Hello Beautiful People!!
October is here! For many that means Halloween decorations, changing leaves, the latest fashionable boots, and soon-to-be merry-making with friends and family. For many, it means struggling with time-management, over-indulging, weather-related blues, family-related stress and more.
Dude! I GET ALL OF YOU. I just had ONE WEEK in Paris and I feel like I’ve been through 10 holiday seasons in a row…and have the water retention to prove it.
While I’m definitely not one to ease into the holiday season stress-free, I CAN help you get through it somewhat unscathed.
Here are some quick tips to manage the PRE-holiday anxiety-

1. Schedule your next 3 months.
Make a list and time-line for everything from gifts that need to be purchased, when you will be finished with your shopping, and even your grocery list for Christmas dinner.
It might sound CRAZY to plan NOW for your holiday dinner, but imagine how great you will feel to not be scrambling at the last minute to find Aunt Edna’s minced meat pie recipe that your Uncle Felix MUST have otherwise his entire year is ruined. Just knowing that everything is planned and scheduled will lead to less stress and better sleep this Fall.
2. Start a health routine NOW.
You know you won’t stick to it 100% come Halloween candy shopping time, but at least START one. If you don’t know what to do feel free to join our Pre-Holiday Belly Buster where we will give you tips on how to stay on track while enjoying your Thanksgiving stuffing and all the candy from your kid’s trick-or-treating adventures.
3. Remember that this time next year you won’t remember any of this holiday craziness.
Every year I remind myself of this and it keeps me grounded and present and enjoying the moments. We wait all year for this festive season so don’t let a little stress affect your happy holidays.
